MIKE BAUCHE

After years of touring and recording with the Vancouver Island folk duo From The Earth, Mike Bauche is embarking on his next creative chapter as a solo artist.

Originally from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Mike has spent more than 20 years performing throughout Western Canada. His musical journey has taken him through folk rock bands, acoustic collaborations, roots projects, live yoga experiences, festivals, and community events. Most recently, as one half of From The Earth, he helped create music inspired by nature, human connection, and the landscapes of Canada's West Coast, releasing multiple albums and performing at festivals and venues across British Columbia.

Now, Mike is returning to the songs that first inspired him to write—deeply personal stories of transformation, resilience, faith, love, loss, and finding your way home to yourself. His solo work carries the warmth and intimacy of folk music while embracing the expansive feeling of the Prairies and the wild beauty of the Pacific coast.

With over seven album releases throughout his career, Mike continues to write music that is honest, reflective, and grounded in lived experience. Whether performing in a theatre, around a campfire, at a festival, or during a yoga practice, he believes music is more than entertainment—it is a way to create belonging, spark meaningful conversations, and remind us that every person carries a story worth hearing.
